2IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS IF IT
WERE NOT SO, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU. I GO TO
PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU.
John 141-3 1 Let not your heart be troubled ye
believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my
Father's house are many mansions if it were not
so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself that where I am, there ye may be
also. King James Version (KJV)

3John 1427 Peace I leave with you, my peace I
give unto you not as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid. John 1511 These
things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might
remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Thank you Jesus!

4Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in
the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 318

5WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT
HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON
INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD BUT THAT THE
WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED!
John 316 For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. John 317 For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world but
that the world through him might be saved.
John 1713 And now come I to thee and these
things I speak in the world, that they might have
my joy fulfilled in themselves.
5
6BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD
John 1633 These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye
shall have tribulation but be of good cheer I
have overcome the world.

7GOD HATH GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS
IN HIS SON!
1 John 510 He that believeth on the Son of God
hath the witness in himself he that believeth
not God hath made him a liar because he
believeth not the record that God gave of his
Son. 1 John 511 And this is the record, that
God hath given to us eternal life, and this life
is in his Son. 1 John 512 He that hath the Son
hath life and he that hath not the Son of God
hath not life.
HE THAT HATH THE SON HATH LIFE!
8I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE NO MAN
COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME
John 145 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know
not whither thou goest and how can we know the
way? John 146 Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me. John 147 If ye had
known me, ye should have known my Father also
and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen
him.
John 148 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us
the Father, and it sufficeth us. John 149 Jesus
saith unto him, Have I been so long time with
you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he
that hath seen me hath seen the Father and how
sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John
1410 Believest thou not that I am in the
Father, and the Father in me? the words that I
speak unto you I speak not of myself but the
Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the
works. John 1411 Believe me that I am in the
Father, and the Father in me or else believe me
for the very works' sake. John 1412 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also and greater
works than these shall he do because I go unto
my Father. John 1413 And whatsoever ye shall
ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. John 1414 If ye
shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
HE THAT HATH SEEN THE SON HATH SEEN THE FATHER!
9John 173 AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL, THAT THEY
MIGHT KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS
CHRIST, WHOM THOU HAST SENT.
John 171 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up
his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is
come glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may
glorify thee John 172 As thou hast given him
power over all flesh, that he should give eternal
life to as many as thou hast given him. John
173 And this is life eternal, that they might
know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ,
whom thou hast sent. John 174 I have glorified
thee on the earth I have finished the work which
thou gavest me to do. John 175 And now, O
Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with
the glory which I had with thee before the world
was. John 176 I have manifested thy name unto
the men which thou gavest me out of the world
thine they were, and thou gavest them me and
they have kept thy word. John 177 Now they
have known that all things whatsoever thou hast
given me are of thee. John 178 For I have given
unto them the words which thou gavest me and
they have received them, and have known surely
that I came out from thee, and they have believed
that thou didst send me. John 179 I pray for
them I pray not for the world, but for them
which thou hast given me for they are
thine. John 1710 And all mine are thine, and
thine are mine and I am glorified in them. John
1711 And now I am no more in the world, but
these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy
Father, keep through thine own name those whom
thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we
are. John 1712 While I was with them in the
world, I kept them in thy name those that thou
gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost,
but the son of perdition that the scripture
might be fulfilled.
10John 1726 AND I HAVE DECLARED UNTO THEM THY
NAME, AND WILL DECLARE IT THAT THE LOVE
WHEREWITH THOU HAST LOVED ME MAY BE IN THEM, AND
I IN THEM.
John 1713 And now come I to thee and these
things I speak in the world, that they might have
my joy fulfilled in themselves. John 1714 I
have given them thy word and the world hath
hated them, because they are not of the world,
even as I am not of the world. John 1715 I
pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the
world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the
evil. John 1716 They are not of the world, even
as I am not of the world. John 1717 Sanctify
them through thy truth thy word is truth. John
1718 As thou hast sent me into the world, even
so have I also sent them into the world. John
1719 And for their sakes I sanctify myself,
that they also might be sanctified through the
truth. John 1720 Neither pray I for these
alone, but for them also which shall believe on
me through their word John 1721 That they all
may be one as thou, Father, art in me, and I in
thee, that they also may be one in us that the
world may believe that thou hast sent me. John
1722 And the glory which thou gavest me I have
given them that they may be one, even as we are
one John 1723 I in them, and thou in me, that
they may be made perfect in one and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast
loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 1724
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast
given me, be with me where I am that they may
behold my glory, which thou hast given me for
thou lovedst me before the foundation of the
world. John 1725 O righteous Father, the world
hath not known thee but I have known thee, and
these have known that thou hast sent me. John
1726 And I have declared unto them thy name,
and will declare it that the love wherewith thou
hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
11IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS
WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. THE SAME WAS IN
THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY
HIM AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE THAT
WAS MADE. IN HIM WAS LIFE AND THE LIFE WAS THE
LIGHT OF MEN
John 11 In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God. John
12 The same was in the beginning with God. John
13 All things were made by him and without him
was not any thing made that was made. John 14
In him was life and the life was the light of
men. John 15 And the light shineth in darkness
and the darkness comprehended it not. John 16
There was a man sent from God, whose name was
John. John 17 The same came for a witness, to
bear witness of the Light, that all men through
him might believe. John 18 He was not that
Light, but was sent to bear witness of that
Light. John 19 That was the true Light, which
lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
12HE WAS IN THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD WAS MADE BY
HIM, AND THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. AND THE WORD WAS
MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US, (AND WE BEHELD
HIS GLORY, THE GLORY AS OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF
THE FATHER
John 110 He was in the world, and the world was
made by him, and the world knew him not. John
111 He came unto his own, and his own received
him not. John 112 But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name John 113
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of
the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of
God. John 114 And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth. John 115 John bare
witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of
whom I spake, He that cometh after me is
preferred before me for he was before me. John
116 And of his fulness have all we received,
and grace for grace. John 117 For the law was
given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus
Christ. John 118 No man hath seen God at any
time the only begotten Son, which is in the
bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John
119 And this is the record of John, when the
Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to
ask him, Who art thou? John 120 And he
confessed, and denied not but confessed, I am
not the Christ.
13John 134 AND I SAW, AND BARE RECORD THAT THIS
IS THE SON OF GOD.
John 123 He said, I am the voice of one crying
in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the
Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. John 124 And
they which were sent were of the Pharisees. John
125 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why
baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ,
nor Elias, neither that prophet? John 126 among
you, whom ye know not John 127 He it is, who
coming after me is preferred before me, whose
shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. John
128 These things were done in Bethabara beyond
Jordan, where John was baptizing. John 129 The
next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away
the sin of the world. John 130 This is he of
whom I said, After me cometh a man which is
preferred before me for he was before me. John
131 And I knew him not but that he should be
made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come
baptizing with water. John 132 And John bare
record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from
heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. John
133 And I knew him not but he that sent me to
baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon
whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and
remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth
with the Holy Ghost. John 134 And I saw, and
bare record that this is the Son of God.
14WHOSOEVER DENIETH THE SON, THE SAME HATH NOT THE
FATHER
1 John 218-26 Little children, it is the last
time and as ye have heard that antichrist shall
come, even now are there many antichrists
whereby we know that it is the last time. They
went out from us, but they were not of us for if
they had been of us, they would no doubt have
continued with us but they went out, that they
might be made manifest that they were not all of
us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and
ye know all things. I have not written unto you
because ye know not the truth, but because ye
know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is
a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the
Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father
and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same
hath not the Father (but) he that acknowledgeth
the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore
abide in you, which ye have heard from the
beginning. If that which ye have heard from the
beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall
continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this
is the promise that he hath promised us, even
eternal life. These things have I written unto
you concerning them that seduce you.
WHO IS A LIAR BUT HE THAT DENIETH THAT JESUS IS
THE CHRIST
(BUT) HE THAT ACKNOWLEDGE THE SON HATH THE FATHER
ALSO!
15I COME IN MY FATHERS NAME!
John 541-47 I receive not honour from men. But I
know you, that ye have not the love of God in
you. I am come in my Father's name, and ye
receive me not if another shall come in his own
name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe,
which receive honour one of another, and seek not
the honour that cometh from God only? Do not
think that I will accuse you to the Father there
is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye
trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have
believed me for he wrote of me. But if ye
believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my
words?
16HE THAT HATETH ME HATETH MY FATHER ALSO
John 523-27 He that hateth me hateth my Father
also. If I had not done among them the works
which none other man did, they had not had sin
but now have they both seen and hated both me and
my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word
might be fulfilled that is written in their law,
They hated me without a cause. But when the
Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from
the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of
me And ye also shall bear witness, because ye
have been with me from the beginning.
John 819 "Where is Your Father?" they asked
Him. "You do not know Me or My Father," Jesus
answered. "If you knew Me, you would know My
Father as well." John 163 They will do these
things because they have not known the Father or
Me.John 173 Now this is eternal life, that
they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom You have sent.
17HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE
HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON.
2 John 19 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth
not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He
that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath
both the Father and the Son. 2 John 110 If
there come any unto you, and bring not this
doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed 2 John 111 For he
that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his
evil deeds.
Luke 1022 All things are delivered to me of my
Father and no man knoweth who the Son is, but
the Father and who the Father is, but the Son,
and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
1 John 42 By this you will know the Spirit of
God Every spirit that confesses that Jesus
Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
1 John 51 Everyone who believes that Jesus is
the Christ is born of God, and everyone who
loves the Father also loves the one born of Him.
1 John 520 And we know that the Son of God has
come and has given us understanding, so that we
may know Him who is true and we are in Him who
is true--in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true
God and eternal life.
18NEITHER PRAY I FOR THESE ALONE, BUT FOR THEM
ALSO WHICH SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR
WORD
John 1720 Neither pray I for these alone, but
for them also which shall believe on me through
their word
Galatians 16-10 I marvel that ye are so soon
removed from him that called you into the grace
of Christ unto another gospel Which is not
another but there be some that trouble you, and
would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached
unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before,
so say I now again, If any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or
God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet
pleased men, I should not be the servant of
Christ.
Jude 13 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to
write unto you of the common salvation, it was
needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you
that ye should earnestly contend for the faith
which was once delivered unto the saints.
19ALL MEN SHOULD HONOUR THE SON, EVEN AS THEY
HONOUR THE FATHER. HE THAT HONOURETH NOT THE SON
HONOURETH NOT THE FATHER WHICH HATH SENT HIM
John 519 Then answered Jesus and said unto
them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can
do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the
Father do for what things soever he doeth, these
also doeth the Son likewise. John 520 For the
Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things
that himself doeth and he will shew him greater
works than these, that ye may marvel. John 521
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and
quickeneth them even so the Son quickeneth whom
he will. John 522 For the Father judgeth no
man, but hath committed all judgment unto the
Son John 523 That all men should honour the
Son, even as they honour the Father. He that
honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father
which hath sent him. John 524 Verily, verily, I
say unto you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation but
is passed from death unto life. John 525
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is
coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the
voice of the Son of God and they that hear shall
live. John 526 For as the Father hath life in
himself so hath he given to the Son to have life
in himself John 527 And hath given him
authority to execute judgment also, because he is
the Son of man. John 528 Marvel not at this
for the hour is coming, in the which all that are
in the graves shall hear his voice, John 529
And shall come forth they that have done good,
unto the resurrection of life and they that have
done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
20IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN
YOUR SINS!
John 824 I said therefore unto you, that ye
shall die in your sins for if ye believe not
that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
John 1720 Neither pray I for these alone, but
for them also which shall believe on me through
their word
(Question Through whose word? Answer Through
the word Jesus disciples taught!
Galatians 18-9 King James Version (KJV) But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any
other gospel unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we
said before, so say I now again, if any man
preach any other gospel unto you than that ye
have received, let him be accursed.
John 318 He that believeth on him is not
condemned but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.
Acts 412 Neither is there salvation in any
other for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.
21THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE
Mark 1617 And these signs shall follow them
that believe In my name shall they cast out
devils they shall speak with new tongues Mark
1618 They shall take up serpents and if they
drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover.
22YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND OF THE
SPIRIT
John 33 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God. John 34 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can
a man be born when he is old? can he enter the
second time into his mother's womb, and be
born? John 35 Jesus answered, Verily, verily,
I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God. John 36 That which is born of
the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit. John 37 Marvel not that I
said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 38
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou
hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell
whence it cometh, and whither it goeth so is
every one that is born of the Spirit.
23HOW THEN SHALL THEY CALL ON HIM IN WHOM THEY HAVE
NOT BELIEVED? AND HOW SHALL THEY BELIEVE IN HIM
OF WHOM THEY HAVE NOT HEARD? AND HOW SHALL THEY
HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER? AND HOW SHALL THEY
PREACH, EXCEPT THEY BE SENT?
Romans 108-17 But what saith it? The word is
nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart
that is, the word of faith, which we preach
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation. For the scripture saith,
Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and
the Greek for the same Lord over all is rich
unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved. How then shall they call on him in whom
they have not believed? and how shall they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? and
how shall they hear without a preacher? And how
shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is
written, How beautiful are the feet of them that
preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad
tidings of good things! But they have not all
obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who
hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by
hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
24BUT IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT
ARE LOST
2 Corinthians 43-5 But if our gospel be hid, it
is hid to them that are lost In whom the god of
this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves,
but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your
servants for Jesus' sake.
25John 1613 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth,
is come, he will guide you into all truth for he
shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak and he will shew
you things to come.
Thank you so much Heavenly Father for your Son,
Jesus. We no longer have to fear eternal death,
because Jesus paid for all of our sins, and has
sent His Holy Spirit to fill us, to guide us into
all righteousness. The following slides will
explain what it means to be born again of the
water and of the Spirit with the evidence of
speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives us the
utterance.
26YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN OF THE WATER AND OF THE
SPIRIT.
John 33 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 34 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man
be born when he is old? can he enter the second
time into his mother's womb, and be born? John
35 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born of water and of the
Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 36 That which is born of the flesh is
flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit. John 37 Marvel not that I said unto
thee, Ye must be born again. John 38 The wind
bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the
sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it
cometh, and whither it goeth so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.
26
27WHAT MUST WE DO?
REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU IN THE
NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS,
AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY
GHOST! ACTS 238
28REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED EVERYONE OF YOU ..
While repenting of their sins, some people may
try to begin naming all of their past sins and
of course, none of us could ever remember all the
sins we have done, and God knows that.
Since He is God and knows everything, He only
requires us to sincerely repent of those sins
before He fills us with the Holy Ghost. He knows
our hearts and will fill those who are sincere in
their repentance.
29IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF
SINS
Romans 63 Know ye not, that so many of us as
were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized
into his death? Romans 64 Therefore we are
buried with him by baptism into death that like
as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk
in newness of life. Romans 65 For if we have
been united with Him like this in His death, we
will certainly also be united with Him in
resurrection.
COLOSSIANS 212 Buried with him in baptism,
wherein also ye are risen with him through the
faith of the operation of God, who hath raised
him from the dead. COLOSSIANS 213 When you were
dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision
of your sinful nature, God made you alive with
Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses,
30NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER FOR
THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG
MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.
Acts 237-39 Now when they heard this, they were
pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and
to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren,
what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your
children, and to all that are afar off, even as
many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 1630-33 And brought them out, and said,
Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said,
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt
be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him
the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his
house. And he took them the same hour of the
night, and washed their stripes and was
baptized, he and all his, straightway.
Acts 412 Neither is there salvation in any
other for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.
31After you have repented of your sins, thank God
for forgiving you of your sins, and begin
praising and worshipping Him in your own words.
Use whatever praises you feel comfortable saying.
Just be sincere in what you say. Something
wonderful is about to happen to you. God is going
to fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Here are a couple of praises that some people say
as they pray to receive the Holy Spirit. They
are not useless words to say, they are true words
of worship, if your heart is into what you are
saying.
Thank you Jesus! Hallelujah!
32THE HOLY GHOST CAME ON THEM AND THEY SPAKE WITH
TONGUES, AND PROPHESIED. (You, too, will speak
in tongues when GOD fills you with the HOLY
GHOST).
Mark 1615-17 And he said unto them, Go ye into
all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall
be saved but he that believeth not shall be
damned. And these signs shall follow them that
believe In my name shall they cast out devils
they shall speak with new tongues
Acts 23-4 And there appeared unto them cloven
tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of
them. And they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as
the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 211 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them
speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Acts 196 And when Paul had laid his hands upon
them, the Holy Ghost came on them and they spake
with tongues, and prophesied.
Acts 1044-48 While Peter yet spake these words,
the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the
word. And they of the circumcision which believed
were astonished, as many as came with Peter,
because that on the Gentiles also was poured out
the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them
speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then
answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that
these should not be baptized, which have received
the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded
them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then
prayed they him to tarry certain days.
33STAY FOCUSED ON THE LORD AS YOU PRAY
Some people are more emotional then others, so
you may hear those people speaking VERY loudly as
they worship the Lord. Try to not let that
distract you. Just continue focusing on the Lord
as you praise and worship Him. If you stay
focused on the Lord, you will be surprised how
quickly you will lose focus on the person who is
a bit loud and very emotional in their worship.
34Usually, after praising and worshipping the Lord
for a while in your own known language, your
tongue and lips will start moving very quickly,
and it will become harder for you to continue
speaking clearly in your known language. Thats
called stammering lips!
35Speak out loud as you praise the Lord. By that we
mean use your voice to praise the Lord, instead
of whispering or speaking in silence. It allows
the Holy Spirit to use your voice, as He gives
the utterance, and as a result it helps prove to
you, and those praying with you, that God has
filled you with the Holy Ghost.
So, open your mouth and begin praising the Lord
out loud.
36Speak out loud whatever sounds are beginning to
form in your mouth. Speaking out loud, does not
mean you have to scream. It simply means use
your voice so that you will know when God has
filled you with His Spirit, which is His Seal
showing He now owns you.
As you continue to praise God, He will soon
change those sounds into a clear language. Just
have faith in God and believe Him to fill you
with His Spirit. Remember, He promised that He
would give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him
for it.
37MANY TIMES, PEOPLE FEEL GODS PRESENCE ALL AROUND
THEM AND OVER THEM, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT
GOD HAS FILLED THEM WITH HIS HOLY SPIRIT? NO!
But be encouraged and know that God does not
leave His children in doubt or cause them have to
wonder Did God really fill me with the Holy
Spirit? They will know they have been filled with
Gods Spirit, because they will hear themselves
speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives them
the utterance.
38SOME PEOPLE THINK WHEN THEIR LIPS ARE STAMMERING,
THEY HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. THEY
ARE WRONG!
Stammering is something that usually happens just
before the words the Holy Ghost is giving you to
speak turns into a clear language.
When stammering begins, yield yourself to Gods
Spirit by allowing the words to change. If you
were praising the Lord in your known language,
and the Holy Spirit begins to form words in your
mouth, dont try to continue speaking in your
known language. Just allow the Holy Spirit to
change your words into the words He wants you to
speak. You may hear the person praying with you
say encouraging words, such as thats it to
allow you to know you are now allowing the Holy
Ghost to change the sounds into words. Please
dont be distracted by their encouraging words.
They are there to help guide you as you surrender
to God. Just continue praising the Lord in your
mind, as you allow the change to happen.
39It may seem strange and exciting to you to
experience God changing your known language. And,
yes, it is wonderful and exciting to realize that
our all powerful and loving God will soon fill
you with His Spirit. As you continue worshipping
the Lord, your tongue may feel funny to you,
because it is moving very fast as you continue to
offer praises to the Lord, but something
wonderful is beginning to happen it is
difficult to continue speaking in your known
language your tongue is beginning to stammer
words you cannot understand thats called
stammering lips. That is suppose to happen. That
means the Holy Ghost is beginning to take over
your tongue to speak utterances in another
language that you do not know. So, just continue
worshiping and praising the Lord, and allow the
change to happen. Soon, you will begin speaking
in another language as clearly as you speak in
your known language, thats called speaking in
tongues.

41Many people think that because God healed them
they must be saved, or they think that because
God delivered them from an evil spirit they must
be saved, or they think that because they felt
joy they must be saved.
Romans 89 But ye are not in the flesh, but in
the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the
Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
BUT, WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?
Mark 1617-18 And these signs shall follow them
that believe In my name shall they cast out
devils they shall speak with new tongues They
shall take up serpents and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
John 35,6,7 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and
of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom
of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh
and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye
must be born again.
42SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS STILL THE EVIDENCE THAT
GOD HAS FILLED A PERSON WITH HIS SPIRIT!
THE HOLY SPIRIT FALLS ON THE GENTILES Acts
1044-48 While Peter yet spake these words, the
Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the
43It is such an honor to have the privilege of
worshiping such a wonderful and loving Heavenly
Father. As you praise and worship Him, your faith
in Him to fill you with His precious Spirit will
grow stronger.
The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to you. You
do not have to beg Him for it. Just keep
praising Him its going to happen!
Remember, God promised that if anyone asked Him
for the Holy Spirit, He will give it to them.
You can believe Him, for God keeps His promises.
Ephesians 113 In whom ye also trusted, after
that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit
of promise,
44NO OTHER RELIGION HAS THE SEAL OF THE HOLY GHOST!
2 Corinthians 121-22 Now he which stablisheth us
with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is
God Who hath also sealed us, and given the
earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Ephesians 113 In whom ye also trusted, after
that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of
promise,
Ephesians 430 And grieve not the Holy Spirit
of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of
redemption.
Speaking in tongues is the only Witness and Proof
that shows a person has been filled with Gods
Spirit. Again, I remind you, every time people
are filled with the Holy Ghost they begin to
speak in tongues as the Spirit gives them the
utterance.
45AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT,
PRAY IN TONGUES OFTEN, DAILY IS EVEN BETTER!
Some people dont pray in tongues for long
periods of time. It causes some to lose faith
when, and if it becomes difficult for them to
speak in tongues again, at least not without a
lot of struggle and effort to do so. Some think
because they cant speak in tongues again, they
have lost the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said He would never leave us, and the Bible
tells us to stir up the gift that is in us. I
encourage you to pray in tongues often, even
daily in order for your faith to not become so
low that you begin to doubt your salvation.
46THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR EVERYONE
The Holy Spirit is for all people. God did not
put an age limit on who receives the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Ghost is not just for certain people.
It is not just for Apostolics and Pentecostals,
or adults and teens, it is for children also.
Children dont get filled with a different Holy
Spirit, they receive the same Spirit as adults.
It is a promise for EVERYONE who ask our Heavenly
Father for it. God looks at the heart and He
knows who is ready to be filled with His Spirit.
47ARE PEOPLE AUTOMATICALLY BORN AGAIN WHEN THEY SAY
THEY HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR? NO!
Read the following scriptures
John 738 He that believeth on me, as the
scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow
rivers of living water. John 739 (But this
spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe
on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not
yet given because that Jesus was not yet
glorified.
Mark 1615 And he said unto them, Go ye into all
the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature. Mark 1616 He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved but he that believeth
not shall be damned. Mark 1617 And these signs
shall follow them that believe In my name shall
they cast out devils they shall speak with new
tongues
Acts 21 And when the day of Pentecost was fully
come, they were all with one accord in one
place. Acts 22 And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled all the house where they were
sitting. Acts 23 And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon
each of them. Acts 24 And they were all filled
with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Just as you hear the wind blowing and you dont
know where it is came from, you know it is there
because you hear its sound. Likewise, when a
person is filled with the Holy Ghost, the person
makes a sound. They begin speaking in tongues as
the Spirit gives them the utterance.
48IS EVERYONE BORN AGAIN IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN
FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, WITH THE EVIDENCE OF
SPEAKING IN TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT GIVES THEM THE
UTTERANCE? NO!
Unfortunately, not everyone is born of the
Spirit, but they can be if they obey the gospel
as taught by Jesus disciples, and ask God to
fill them with His Spirit. Read the book of Acts
to see what happened when people obeyed the
gospel.
Mark 1616 He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved but he that believeth not shall
be damned. Mark 1617 And these signs shall
follow them that believe In my name shall they
cast out devils they shall speak with new
tongues
John 33 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God. John 34 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can
a man be born when he is old? can he enter the
second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
John 35 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of
God. John 36 That which is born of the flesh
is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit. John 37 Marvel not that I said unto
thee, Ye must be born again. John 38 The wind
bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the
sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it
cometh, and whither it goeth so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.
Just as you hear the wind blowing and you dont
know where it is came from, you know it is there
because you hear its sound. Likewise, when a
person is filled with the Holy Ghost, the person
makes a sound. They begin speaking in tongues as
the Spirit gives them the utterance.
49NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE
IS NONE OF HIS!
Romans 811 But if the Spirit of him that raised
up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken
your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth
in you.
Romans 89 But ye are not in the flesh, but in
the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the
Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
(quicken your mortal bodies make alive)
50THE SPIRIT ITSELF BEARETH WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT
THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD!
Romans 88 So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God. Romans 89 But ye are not in
the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of
his. Romans 810 And if Christ be in you, the
body is dead because of sin but the Spirit is
life because of righteousness. Romans 811 But
if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from
the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal
bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans
812 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not
to the flesh, to live after the flesh. Romans
813 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall
die but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
deeds of the body, ye shall live. Romans 814
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. Romans 815 For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to
fear but ye have received the Spirit of
adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans
816 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God Romans
817 And if children, then heirs heirs of God,
and joint-heirs with Christ if so be that we
suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
together.
511 JOHN 413 HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE DWELL IN HIM,
AND HE IN US, BECAUSE HE HATH GIVEN US OF HIS
SPIRIT.
1 John 324 And he that keepeth his commandments
dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we
know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which
he hath given us.
52BUT THE COMFORTER, WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM
THE FATHER WILL SEND IN MY NAME, HE SHALL TEACH
YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR
REMEMBRANCE, WHATSOEVER I HAVE SAID UNTO YOU
John 1415-31 If ye love me, keep my
commandments. And I will pray the Father, and
he shall give you another Comforter, that he may
abide with you for ever Even the Spirit of
truth whom the world cannot receive, because it
seeth him not, neither knoweth him but ye know
him for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in
you. I will not leave you comfortless I will
come to you. Yet a little while, and the world
seeth me no more but ye see me because I live,
ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know
that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in
you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth
them, he it is that loveth me and he that loveth
me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love
him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith
unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou
wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the
world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man
love me, he will keep my words and my Father
will love him, and we will come unto him, and
make our abode with him. He that loveth me not
keepeth not my sayings and the word which ye
hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent
me. These things have I spoken unto you, being
yet present with you. But the Comforter, which
is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in
my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace
I give unto you not as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid. John 1428 Ye have heard how I
said unto you, I go away, and come again unto
you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I
said, I go unto the Father for my Father is
greater than I. And now I have told you before it
come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye
might believe. Hereafter I will not talk much
with you for the prince of this world cometh,
and hath nothing in me. But that the world may
know that I love the Father and as the Father
gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us
go hence.
53GOD FILLED PEOPLE WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND THEY
SPOKE IN TONGUES
Acts 24 and they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as
the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 1044-48 While Peter yet spake these words,
the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the
word. And they of the circumcision which
believed were astonished, as many as came with
Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was
poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they
heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water,
that these should not be baptized, which have
received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he
commanded them to be baptized in the name of the
Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 194-6 Then said Paul, John verily baptized
with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the
people, that they should believe on him which
should come after him, that is, on Christ
Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized
in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had
laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on
them and they spake with tongues, and
prophesied.
1 Corinthians 141-5 Pursue love, and earnestly
desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you
may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue
speaks not to men but to God for no one
understands him, but he utters mysteries in the
Spirit. On the other hand, the one who prophesies
speaks to people for their upbuilding and
encouragement and consolation. The one who speaks
in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who
prophesies builds up the church. Now I want you
all to speak in tongues, but even more to
prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than
the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone
interprets, so that the church may be built up.
1 Corinthians 1437-40 If anyone thinks that he
is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge
that the things I am writing to you are a command
of the Lord. If anyone does not recognize this,
he is not recognized. So, my brothers, earnestly
desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in
tongues. But all things should be done decently
and in order.
Jude 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves
up in your most holy faith and praying in the
Holy Spirit,
54PAUL GIVES INSTRUCTIONS ON WHEN TO SPEAK IN
TONGUES
1 Corinthians 141-5 Pursue love, and earnestly
desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you
may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue
speaks not to men but to God for no one
understands him, but he utters mysteries in the
Spirit. On the other hand, the one who prophesies
speaks to people for their upbuilding and
encouragement and consolation. The one who speaks
in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who
prophesies builds up the church. Now I want you
all to speak in tongues, but even more to
prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than
the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone
interprets, so that the church may be built up.
1 Corinthians 1414-19 For if I pray in a
tongue, my spirit prays but my mind is
unfruitful. What am I to do? I will pray with my
spirit, but I will pray with my mind also I will
sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with
my mind also. Otherwise, if you give thanks with
your spirit, how can anyone in the position of an
outsider say Amen to your thanksgiving when he
does not know what you are saying? For you may be
giving thanks well enough, but the other person
is not being built up. I thank God that I speak
in tongues more than all of you. Nevertheless, in
church I would rather speak five words with my
mind in order to instruct others, than ten
thousand words in a tongue.
1 Corinthians 1420-28 Brethren, be not children
in understanding howbeit in malice be ye
children, but in understanding be men. In the law
it is written, With men of other tongues and
other lips will I speak unto this people and yet
for all that will they not hear me, saith the
Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to
them that believe, but to them that believe not
but prophesying serveth not for them that believe
not, but for them which believe. If therefore the
whole church be come together into one place, and
all speak with tongues, and there come in those
that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not
say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and
there come in one that believeth not, or one
unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged
of all And thus are the secrets of his heart
made manifest and so falling down on his face he
will worship God, and report that God is in you
of a truth. How is it then, brethren? when ye
come together, every one of you hath a psalm,
hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a
revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all
things be done unto edifying. If any man speak in
an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the
most by three, and that by course and let one
interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let
him keep silence in the church and let him speak
to himself, and to God.
55BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD. FOR AS MANY ARE
LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF
GOD. THE SPIRIT ITSELF BEARETH WITNESS WITH OUR
SPIRIT, THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD.
Romans 121-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service. And be not
conformed to this world but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what
is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will
of God.
Romans 814-17 For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye
have not received the spirit of bondage again to
fear but ye have received the Spirit of
adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The
Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit,
that we are the children of God And if children,
then heirs heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ if so be that we suffer with him, that we
may be also glorified together.
56Romans 814 FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT
OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD.
Romans 89-17 But ye are not in the flesh, but
in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit
of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in
you, the body is dead because of sin but the
Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if
the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the
dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from
the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by
his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore,
brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to
live after the flesh. For if ye live after the
flesh, ye shall die but if ye through the Spirit
do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall
live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not
received the spirit of bondage again to fear but
ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby
we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children
of God And if children, then heirs heirs of
God, and joint-heirs with Christ if so be that
we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
together.
The Church, the Body of Christ, His Bride are
people made up of all those who have been born
again of the water and of the Spirit. Meaning
They were baptized in the name of Jesus for the
remission of their sins, and were filled with the
Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues as the Spirit
gave them the utterance, and lived lives led and
guided by the Holy Spirit.
57DONT ALLOW ANYONE TO CORRUPT YOUR MIND INTO NOT
BELIEVING THE GOSPEL THAT THE DISCIPLES PREACHED.
Galatians 16-9 I marvel that ye are so soon
removed from him that called you into the grace
of Christ unto another gospel Which is not
another but there be some that trouble you, and
would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached
unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before,
so say I now again, If any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him be accursed.
2 Corinthians 111-3 Would to God ye could bear
with me a little in my folly and indeed bear
with me. For I am jealous over you with godly
jealousy For I have espoused you to one
husband, that I may present you as a chaste
virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means,
as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
58WARNING AGAINST NEGLECTING SALVATION
Hebrews 21 Therefore we ought to give the more
earnest heed to the things which we have heard,
lest at any time we should let them
slip. Hebrews 22 For if the word spoken by
angels was stedfast, and every transgression and
disobedience received a just recompence of
reward Hebrews 23 How shall we escape, if we
neglect so great salvation which at the first
began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed
unto us by them that heard him Hebrews 24
God also bearing them witness, both with signs
and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts
of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
59HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT
SALVATION
B.W.JOHNSON COMMENTARY Hebrews 21-4 Therefore
we ought to give the more earnest heed. Because
the message to us is spoken, not by angels or
prophets, but by the Son of God. To the things
which we have heard. To Christ's gospel, and to
his words of instruction. Lest . . . we should
let them slip. Lest we should let them slip from
us because we drift away from them and refuse to
heed them. For if the word spoken by angels. The
Jewish law. See notes on Act_753 and Gal_319.
The law was given through the medium of angels,
as was confessed by the Jews. See Josephus,
Antiq. XV 5, section 3. Was steadfast. Confirmed
by a penalty upon transgressors. Every
transgression. Nothing is plainer in all Jewish
history than that obedience to the law was
rewarded and disobedience punished. How shall we
escape. How then, if this was true of the law,
can we hope to escape if he neglect the message
of the Son? So great salvation. Not a temporal,
but an eternal salvation, the salvation of the
gospel. Begun to be spoken by the Lord. More
especially after his death and resurrection when
he bade his disciples go into all the world and
preach the gospel to every creature. Was
confirmed to us. If Paul was the writer of
Hebrews he places himself in the position of the
church, for elsewhere he tells us plainly that he
received the gospel from the Lord himself. The
apostles who had heard and seen the risen Christ
first proclaimed his gospel publicly on
Pentecost, an event evidently alluded to in this
passage. God bearing them witness. God bore
witness to the truth of their words by the signs
and wonders of Pentecost. He also bore witness
afterwards by giving them miraculous powers, and
by the extraordinary gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Note that when the Law was given on Sinai God
bore witness by signs and wonders. Also when the
gospel, the message of Christ, was given on Mt.
Zion God bore witness with signs and wonders.
60IF YE KEEP IN MEMORY WHAT I PREACHED UNTO YOU,
UNLESS YE HAVE BELIEVED IN VAIN
1 Corinthians 151-11 Moreover, brethren, I
declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto
you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye
stand By which also ye are saved, if ye keep
in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye
have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you
first of all that which I also received, how that
Christ died for our sins according to the
scriptures And that he was buried, and that he
rose again the third day according to the
scriptures And that he was seen of Cephas, then
of the twelve After that, he was seen of above
five hundred brethren at once of whom the
greater part remain unto this present, but some
are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of
James then of all the apostles. And last of all
he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due
time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am
not meet to be called an apostle, because I
persecuted the church of God. But by the grace
of God I am what I am and his grace which was
bestowed upon me was not in vain but I laboured
more abundantly than they all yet not I, but the
grace of God which was with me. Therefore
whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so
ye believed.
Romans 116-17 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth to the Jew
first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the
righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith as it is written, The just shall live by
faith.
Ephesians 17 In whom we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to
the riches of his grace Ephesians 113 In whom
ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation in whom also
after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
Holy Spirit of promise,

61WHAT DOES MANY CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN MEAN?
Matthew 2214 For many are called, but few are
chosen.
The many called are all those who hear the gospel
(the whole Jewish nation, and the Gentiles of
every land where the gospel is preached). But
the chosen are those who not only hear the
gospel, but they accept and obey it.
