Where did he grow up?

• Eric Carle was born in Syracuse, New York in
  1929.
• He moved to Germany when he was six years old.
• He moved back to America in 1952.

Where did he go to school?

• Eric Carle went to school in Germany when he was
  young.
• He graduated from a prestigious art school called
  the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Stuttgard,
  Germany.

Where does Eric Carle live now?

• Eric Carle lives in Northampton, Massachusetts
  with his wife. They spend their summers in the
  Berkshire Hills.

• Eric Carle has a wife named Bobbie and two
  children, a son named Rolf and a daughter named
  Cirsten.
• He also has a grey cat named Annie.
