Teachers Association (NSTA). The award-winning
program is designed to improve the teaching and
learning of science from kindergarten through
12th grade. NSTA is the worlds largest
organization dedicated to the improvement of

15CABAP is part of the 26-state Building a Presence
network coordinated and supported by the
National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). As
part of this network, CABAP aims to have a
teacher Point of Contact in every California
public and private school. CABAP provides
resources and information that support more and
better K-12 science education for all California
students.

- Have a designated Bulletin Board in the Staff
Lounge where science items can be posted. - Request a few minutes for a Science Update at
staff or department meetings. - Set up a Materials Table where teachers can
review science curriculum materials (such as
Dr. Arts book and Strategic Science Teaching.) - Bookmark www.enc.org on a staff computer and
share the monthly Digital Dozen with others. - Encourage teachers at your school to subscribe to
ENC Focus.
