2Focus Group 1 Scope
- Determine how the Year 2000 problem could
adversely - affect the reliability, interconnectivity and
interoperability of - public telecommunications networks.
- The committee will assess the magnitude of the
risks, review - efforts taken to address those risks and
determine what additional - steps should be taken to mitigate risks.
- In particular, the committee will determine
that appropriate intra - and inter-network testing, contingency
planning and network - monitoring have been arranged.
