Mrs. T. Taylor

• Bio
• I was born on June 16,1970.
• I graduated from Medina High in 1988.
• I graduated from the University of Akron in 1992,
  with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Ed.
• I student taught at Garfield Elementary in grades
  3 and 5.
• I substituted for 2 1/2 years.
• I was hired in 1995 to teach 5th grade.
• I am currently working on my Masters Degree.

Educational Philosophy

• Learning can take place in many forms.
• I believe that students must feel safe and secure
  in their learning environment.
• There must be trust and respect among all members
  of our classroom.
• Flexibility is important part of being an
  educator. Being able to switch gears to meet the
  students needs is essential.
• SMILES are a must.

Classroom Expectations

• Students must come prepared to class.
• Students give their very best effort in all
  areas.
• Students must write assignments in their D.A.B.
  everyday.
• Students are responsible for making up work when
  they are absent.
• Students must have a positive attitude.
• Smiles are a must.

• 100 A 76-74 C
• 99-95 A 73-70 C-
• 94-90 A- 69-67 D
• 89-87 B 66-64 D
• 86-84 B 63-60 D-
• 83-80 B- 59 and below F
• 79-77 C

Point System

• Grades are calculated based on a point value
  system.
• Each paper has a total number of points
• Ex. 10/10 A
• The points are added up at the end of the grading
  period.
• The points are divided by the total number able
  to receive for the grading period.

• Married to Mr. Taylor on Aug. 10,1996.
• My parents Tom and Jackie, live in Fountain
  Hills,AZ.
• I have one brother, Matt who lives in NY.
• I have one sister Samantha who lives in AZ.
• I have no children.
