9Attendance Policies
Things to Know
- Your parent/guardian should call the Attendance
Office first thing in the morning if you will be
absent. - A written note signed by your parent/guardian
should be submitted upon your return. If a note
is not received within 3 days the absence is
recorded as UNEXCUSED.
- Notes should include
- Students full name
- Students ID number
- Date(s) of absence
- Parent/guardian signature
- Daytime phone for parent/guardian
10Making Up Missed Work
Things to Know
- In general, teachers will allow students as many
days to make up missed work as the number of days
the student was legally absent. Students should
contact a friend when absent or see the
individual teacher for assignments following a
brief absence. - For extended illness, parents should contact the
Counseling Office.

Students should see their administrator regarding
an appeal in the event of an LC.
