The demand for college education will rise, but
slowly.

Most jobs in Virginia are open to people with a
high school diploma, an associates degree, or
other postsecondary training. This is true now
and will continue to be true in the future.
But are these good jobs?
The truth is, some are and some arent.

Some of these HS/SC jobs pay low wages and have
little chance for advancement.
But others pay well and lead to more
opportunities.

Specialized training and licensing or
certification.
Anybody with good manners, a strong back, and a
good memory can get a shot at a waitressing job.
BUT
You need qualifications to become an automotive
technician, electrician, LPN, nursing assistant,
or HVAC technician.
