• We went from knowing nothing about computers to
  knowing a lot about them. We learned how to
• Trouble shoot problems on computers.
• Repair computers from scratch.
• Install different types of hardware.
• Download software to the computers for classrooms
  throughout the school.

• What is Hardware ?
• Ill tell you what it means.

• The most important object inside a computer is a
  CPU (Central processing unit). Its important
  because CPU carries out data from the ram.

• The ram (Random access memory) is a memory card
  that makes a computer process data faster than
  ever.

• What is a CD drive? Well a CD drive is a compact
  disc reader. It reads an audio compact disc or
  data compact disc.

Problems Their Solutions

Some problems that may happen

• The computers for refurbishing were late arriving
  for repairs.
• CD-Roms were stolen.
• Computers have problems that cannot be
  refurbished.

The way that we solve the problems

• We waited for the arrival of the computers while
  we learned about software.
• We werent able to refurbish as many computers as
  we would like.
• We refurbished the ones we could by salvaging
  parts from the ones we could not fix.

HELPING OTHERS

• My help and the help of my fellow peers have
  made a difference in the school. The students
  and the teachers really appreciate our help and
  they will be more than happy to receive a
  computer that we have refurbished.

Computer Club

• The computer club has made me and my peers feel
  like we can accomplish anything dealing with
  computers. With the help of Mrs. Kirby, Ms. Beth
  and Mr. Maurice, we have accomplished a lot. With
  my skills I will soon attend Indiana University
  and continue a career in Business Technology and
  Computer Science.
