The beginning

• Fundraising committee developed in 2005 by the
  Neighbourhood House
• ROAC new coordinator Feb 06 a community needs
  survey conducted
• 130 responses requesting
• Family fun days Markets
• Country Western Nights
• Technology product nights
• Afternoon teas and celebrations
• Trivia Nights
• Art and Craft days

Too much, too little.

• Feedback also indicated
• Too many small events not sure what to do
• Marketing and promotion were lacking
• Too many fundraising events same people
  spending money
