trailers, of 20, 40 and 45, which are towed by
Mercedes Benz and Mack tractor units ranging from
240 hp to 500 hp

• Semi low-loadersPanalpina can provide semi
  low-loaders with 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 axle lines,
  with a maximum payload capacity of up to 110
  tons.
• Semi low-loaders are characterized by a flat
  load bed and a goose-neck in front of the load
  bed that fits a 3 or 4 axle road tractor or prime
  mover. Load beds of 7.4 m, 9 m and 12 m are
  available, while extendable low loaders range
  from 16 m to 21 m.

Providing the right and reliable tool for the job
Modular Multi Wheel Platforms This type of
transport solution is used for long tanks,
cooling towers, overhead crane sections and other
long and heavy items. Maximum cargo dimensions
for up country transports are limited to 35.0
meters in length 3.2 meter in height and 5.0
meter in width. The cargo weight should be
limited to 120 tons but shall not be the maximum
limit.
Vessel Bridges The use of a vessel-bridge
provides the means to transport high and heavy
items where there are height restrictions. Like
any heavy lift movement, the road surface and
conditions are very important and route surveys
are essential when taking these solution into
consideration.

of particular importance when cargoes are shipped
on gear-less vessels and there may be draft
restrictions at the discharge berth or within a
port.
Water Transport In case there is no road access
from the port of arrival to the final inland

Region, barges may be the only solution for the
on-carryage the cargo. Panalpina Nigeria has been
planning, organizing, executing and supervising a
large number of barge transports and operations
