1 Create your own database
Step 1 Create your own database You will use
this every time you run PRS, from any
computerthis provides central storage of your
data

Creating a class
Use the wizard to create your classes If it
has a you will need to fill in that
field before you can continue Repeat this step
until you have created all of your classes.

Broadcast Name (NEW FEATURE)
The Broadcast Name is the name of the Class that
will appear on the PRS RF Clicker's LCD display
during the autoscan that is initiated when the RF
Clicker is turned on. Students will use this
name to identify this Class in order to join it.
Also displayed in the yellow Status Bar on the
Session Toolbar, when a Session for this Class
has been started.

Create Questions On-The-Fly
From the main page, hit the Collect Responses
button and start a class. Choose question
options from the drop down boxes and type on the
correct answer. Or from question bar, choose
the ? button to create a on the fly question.

Getting your students started
First Time Student Users ONLY(It is important
to enter your Student ID before your first use)
1. Power on your Clicker. 2. When autoscan
begins, press to stop it. 3. Press again to
display the Setup Menu. 4. Scroll up or down to
display the ID menu option. 5. Press the
enter/send button to select this option. 6.
Input your Student ID. (Please leave off leading
zeros) 7. Press enter/send button to save your
Student ID

1.Press the button. 2.Press the up
arrow Until you get to the ID Screen. 3.Press
the green send button
4.Put in your ID, and press the green send
button again.

Now youre ready to collect responses!
Make sure your receiver is plugged in (there
should be a Green light on the receiver,
either flashing or solid) Click on Collect
Responses Choose your class name, section, And
type of class from the drop down box.

Have your students join into your class to create
your roster.
Notes -- The Jump code (The letter/number in
ltgt)will usually change (Possibilities are 1
thru 9, or A thru E) --When you press the
jump to the code on the clicker, make sure the
broadcast name appears before pressing the enter
buttonthis may take a moment.

  • Choose your class
  • Choose your section (if you have one)
  • Move all students into official roster
  • Click Import Roster

Merge your roster, Part 1
  • After you have had your first class, you will
    have a roster with only Clicker IDs and Student
    IDs.
  • Export from your LMS (Blackboard) class roster
    into a .csv file and put on your desktop.
  • Open the .csv roster file you just created and
    make sure there are headers in each column.

Note Delete columns that you Do not want to
use in PRS Rosterie, you may not Want USER ID
to show up In PRS Roster.

Merge Your Roster P2
  • Use the Import Wizard to merge your roster with
    the LMS Roster.
  • Click on Import Custom non-Response Roster
    (csv)
  • Browse to find your file that you saved on your
    desktop
  • Choose Merge with Current Roster option
  • Match columns so you can merge the correct
    information into each column of PRS.
