MILES OF SIDEWALKS

• Most walks are done with lighter equipment like
  Gators brooms
• 10.5 miles of sidewalks
• 3 Smaller plow trucks do not require a CDL
• Washed and maintained after each use

ACRES OF PARKING LOTS

• High School lots are very big, approximately 14
  acres.
• 10 man hours to plow just the parking lots _at_ HS
  with 4 inches of snow fall.
• Walkways are done by Leads.
• Team Center softball lots are seasonal.
• Total parking areas for all buildings is 33 acres
  4 miles of entrance roads to an additional 15
  acres.
• Lighting - loading moving lifts, changing bulbs
  ballasts.

SNOW PLOWING/SALTING

• 1 Vehicle for salting.
• 12 tons of salt to do the entire district at
  28.24 per ton.
• The cost per application on just parking lots is
  350.00.

1977 John Deere Loader

• Aging equipment, 7,800 hours on this loader that
  was retired from the city.
• Used throughout the district year round.
• Basic main snow removal piece for all large
  areas.
• 12 snow blade attached.
• Replacement tires are 2200.00

• 2 Bobcat Skid Loaders
• Bobcat fitted with special 10 snow blade
• Tire wear
• Continuous use
• Almost all maintenance done in-house
• Versatile-Sweeper, Forks, street sweeper buckets
  and eventually a tree spade.

SALT PROGRAM W/CITY

• 28.24 Per ton
• 22.00 per ton if liquid de-icer is applied.
• 2007-08 Salt storage fee is 2145.00.
• 350 Tons currently allotted.
