Michael Harrington, an Ex police officer, worked
with New York Police Department for 7 years. It
was his passion for the uniform that compelled
Michael Harrington to become a police officer. He
always wanted to join the police force and serve
his country and this dream came true when he
actually joined the New York Police Department in
2002. Joining the NYPD was a proud moment, as the
department is one of the oldest and prestigious
police departments of the United States. NYPD was
established in 1845 and is the largest municipal
police department which is responsible for
investigation and law enforcement. The department
aims at reducing fear, enforcing laws, providing
safe and secure environment, and maintaining
peace. The department deals with many services
including anti-terrorism, harbor patrol,
anti-gang, criminal intelligence, air support,
public transport and public housing.

Michael Harrington worked with many employees
before joining as a police officer. He
specializes in education sales and has worked
with various institutes and education departments
where his major job duties were handling
admissions and counseling students to join the
right courses. Some of the jobs where Michael
worked are Art Institute of New York City
Inspirica, Inc. King TeleServices LLC Schick
Technologies, Inc. N.W. Ayer and Clark Boardman
Callaghan/West Publishing. He also worked as a
stock broker with Investors Associates, Inc., and
First Hanover Securities.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 and received
a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from
John Jay College, New York. Established in 1964,
the college is one of the most prestigious
colleges of the area. The college derived its
name from John Jay who was the first Chief
Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States
and served as a Governor of New York State. The
college offers courses in Criminal Justice
Studies, Forensic psychology programs, and
Forensic Science. Michael also went to Drake
Business School and completed Executive Business
Diploma. He also studied Word Processing and
Accounting. He did a six-month course in
Accounting and Word processing from American
Business Institute, New York. All these
qualifications made Michael Harrington, a well
deserving police officer. He likes to visit
concerts and sporting events when he gets a
chance.
