    the Italian Peninsula
  • Italy is mountainous
  • Italian Peninsula has one of the longest
    coastlines in the world.

  • Looks like it is going to kick the island of

  • Spreads across 7 low hills
  • 15 miles along the Tiber river
  • Hills protected them from attacks

    from different areas such as Greece.

    from each other.
