What are Childrens Centres

• Working with under 5s and their families to
  offer
• integrated early education and childcare
• support for parents including advice on
  parenting, local childcare options and access to
  specialist services for families
• child and family health services ranging from
  health screening, health visitor services to
  breast-feeding support
• helping parents into work with links to the
  local Jobcentre Plus and training.

Hillingdon Childrens Centres

• Hillingdon has at present 12 operational
  childrens centres
• 6 more are being built at the moment and due for
  completion later this year
• Total of 18 childrens centres throughout the
  London Borough of Hillingdon

• Works over different funding streams
• Core activity at present is Childrens Centre and
  older persons

  Early Years Team and Parent Support Worker
