Reducing ecological impacts through resource
optimization
  • Demand Side Management Committee- water and
    energy reduction strategies
  • Implementing Building Codes - will reduce energy
    consumption by 70 from current standards (to
    align with UN targets), 30 reduction in water
    consumption and ensure longevity of constructions
    through QA.
  • Implementing Estidama rating system focused on
    continuous improvement over and above the codes
    shading for more pedestrian friendly environment,
    environmental impact assessment, worker
    accommodation standards.
  • District Cooling -180,000 T district cooling
    plant at MBZ City.
