• Founded in 1889, on the initiative of Gen. Stefan
  Falcoianu
• The sixth staff school in Europe after those in
  Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Turin and Brussels
• Commandant, teaching staff and students assigned
  to combat units and deployed to the operation
  theaters of the First and Second World Wars.
