Kindergarten classes are held in all of the
districts K-5 elementary schools.
Each kindergarten child attends either a morning or afternoon class.
Each session is 2 hours and 45 minutes long.

Child care accommodations are accommodated as long as the child care provider is within the home school district.
Students are assigned by July 15, 2008
NO KINDERGARTEN STUDENT IS LEFT AT A STOP WITH OUT SOMEONE AT THEIR STOP

14 Meet Greet
In line with our district mission statement, all entering kindergarten students will participate in a Meet Greet session. The Meet and Greet will last approximately 15 minutes. The kindergarten teacher will use the information to assist in meeting the individual needs of your child. This information will not be used to track or group children by ability.
All students must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the Meet and Greet.

A formative assessment utilized by the teacher to monitor class/student independent learning outcomes.
Administered three times per year to all students in kindergarten.
