• The beaks of birds are the proper size and shape
  for the foods that they eat. Different birds
  have different beak structure and therefore eat
  different foods.
• Camouflage--the coloration of many animals helps
  to hind them from predators or prey. Examples

  periodically by moving on a seasonal basis. Many
  animals migrate to find food or shelter or to
  find warmth.
• Examples Bird migrations Monarch butterflies
  Whale and Shark migrations
• Hibernationspending winter in an inactive or
  dormant state. Helps animals to conserve energy
  in stressful times. The animals lower their
  metabolic rates and therefore need less food to
  survive.
• Examples of animals that hibernate bats

• Bears do not hibernate. They are easily awakened
  from their winter sleep.
