  divination that is used to provide an insight

History of Runes

• Runes are believed to have been introduced in
  the 4th century in Northern Europe, the British
  Isles, Scandinavia and Iceland. It is also
  believed that the practice was used by Northern
  European tribes, the Celts, and the Vikings to
  create spells and to take control over others
  lives.

How Runes Work

• Like other forms of divination, Rune readings
  are associated with the subconscious mind. They
  are about interpreting the symbols that are
  selected, and expanding on their meaning through
  insight and meditation.

How A Rune Reading Is Done?

• A Rune Reading begins with a Rune pouch, which
  consists of rune lots. As the subject poses a
  question, the rune casters subconscious mind is
  focused towards that very question. Runes are
  then pulled from that pouch one by one, and are
  divided into groups of eight. The subject is
  asked to choose one out of the two lots of eight.
  After a lot is picked, the Rune caster, using the
  symbols as guide, interprets the meaning of the
  symbols in light of the question asked by the
  subject.
