Spider Bite Symptoms

• The symptoms of a spider bite are not long
  lasting. Venomous spider bite symptoms can last
  for more than a day ,but on the other hand, non
  venomous spider bites last for a couple of
  minutes. Spider bites are not usually dangerous,
  since most of them do not have venom in
  sufficient amounts to cause damage. If a person
  is bitten by a venomous spider, such as the black
  widow, the first symptoms will usually appear in
  the matter of minutes. The person experiences
  severe symptoms such as heavy spasms, burning
  sensation around the bite area, nausea, and
  swellings. A spider bite is not that different
  from that of an insect, it includes the usual
  symptoms such as sharp pain and redness around
  the bite area. The most dangerous complications
  are those which happen when a person has an
  allergic reaction. There can also be a toxic
  reaction to some spider bites such as those of
  the black widow and the brown recluse spider. A
  person bitten by a poisonous spider can
  experience skin rash and the patients with a
  heart disease may not be able to overcome these
  symptoms and can have very serious complications.

Black Widow bite

• The black widow bite is usually followed with
  symptoms such as shooting pain, difficulty
  breathing, fever and convulsions. This spider is
  not that lethal as people tend to believe. The
  most severe complications may appear in children
  and people whose immune system had been weakened
  with another disease. It is very important that
  the bitten person receives prompt medical
  attention and this may not always be possible
  since the bite itself may sometimes be painless.
  In this case, it is important to recognize the
  symptoms as early as possible.

Brown Recluse Spider bite

• The brown recluse spider bite can cause skin
  rash, nausea and fever. These spiders can be
  found in dark places and they can often be
  tangled up inside clothes. When this spider is
  disturbed it will bite, but it usually does not
  attack if it is left alone. Children and elderly
  people are the groups with which there should be
  additional caution because their immune system
  may be weak, making it easier for the symptoms to
  take a heavier form.
