2Graduation Schedule

- Cocktail Reception for Students, Parents Guests
- Hors doeuvres

- Dress Code Business casual or if you prefer,
slightly more formal/dressy.
3Graduation Schedule Cont.
- Saturday May 14th
- 845 AM
- Class Photo at Wallace Wade Stadium Section 16
- Make sure your guests are in Cameron by 900AM
- 9-920 formal line-up and name card distribution
- 920 procession toward Cameron, North Entrance
- 935 procession inside Cameron.
- 1000 1130
- Graduation Program (speakers, class gift, etc.).
- 1145 AM 130PM
- Lunch at the Fox Center lots of food so make
late dinner reservations that day
4Graduation Schedule Cont.
- Sunday May 15th Wallace Wade Stadium
- 930 am procession starts at the East gate
- 10 am Duke-wide ceremony
- (2005 speaker Rircardo Lagos, President of
Chile) - 12 Noon Reception at the Fox Center. Pick up
your diploma at the Fox or at the Fuqua Registrar
between May 16-27th. Otherwise they will be
mailed to your address on record in June.

(East Wing, 3rd floor above Admissions) with the
form completed so that Natalie DAubermont
Thompson can complete the section for your
department. Lastly, you will need to visit the
International Office to complete the process.

- There will be plenty of Event Parking signs.
7Email Accounts/Addresses
- Duke NetID
- Your NetID (email account) will remain active for
one (1) year after you graduate. You can use Duke
Web Mail to access this account. This account is
managed by Duke OIT. You may call OIT at 684-2200
if you have any concerns about your email. - Fuqua LEA
- You will keep your Fuqua Lifetime Email Alias
(LEA) for life regardless of how often you change
jobs or email providers. Since your LEA is just
a forwarding address, please make sure to keep
your LEA profile updated with a current work or
personal email account.

9FuquaNet Resources
- How long will my FuquaNet account be active?
- Your FuquaNet account gives you access to public
PCs at Fuqua as well as the H, G, and I
drives. This account will remain active until
November 15, 2005. NOTE If you need an
extension because of special circumstances,
contact the Technical Support Center
(tsc-help_at_fuqua.duke.edu) - Please begin removing data from your H drive
soon after graduation

FuquaWorld? - After graduation you will have access to

11Building Parking Access
- Your Fuqua ID "swipe" card will remain active
until July 31st 2005. - Parking access should last through July 31st as
well. As an alumnus/alumna, you can get another
DukeCard that will be good for a year and Scott
Plueddemann can give you access to the building.
- The card can be renewed every year.
12Library Resources
- Students have access to library books and DVDs
for one year after graduation but you need to get
a new borrowers card as your Fuqua ID expires
August 1st. - While alumni do not have off-campus (remote)
access to Fuqua databases after graduation, you
are welcome to use the resources by visiting the
library. - Anyone with research questions may contact Paula

13Insurance
- How long am I covered by the Duke health
insurance? - August 16, 2005. The Duke-sponsored Student
Health Insurance Plan, administered by Hill,
Chesson and Woody, does not terminate until this
date. Please click on either the Bursar's Office
web site or Hill Chesson and Woody's web site for
termination of coverage under "Plan Information."

- Note
- May 15, 2005 is the expiration date of the
Health Fee only. The health fee enables you to
use services at the Student Health Center during
the enrollment period as a full-time or part-time
student at Duke. Once the academic year ends you
would see a regular doctor rather than go to the
Student Health Center.
14Flex Card Account
- What happens if I have some left on my card?
- According to the Duke Card Office, any balance
remaining on a student's flex card will be
returned to the Bursar's Office. - In case you have no outstanding balance at the
Bursars Office, a refund will be mailed to you.
15Lockers
- Please remember to empty your lockers by
05/18/05. After this date, anything in lockers
will be destroyed. - Lockers will be reassigned over the summer and we
appreciate your cooperation.
16Bursars Account
- Most of you have a balance due at the bursar's
office that will need - to be paid off by 5/13/05 (or we hold diplomas
and transcripts). - Bursar's website with information on where to
mail your payment if - you would prefer that option.
