    this country each year.

  • Amongst this percentage, the average consumption

Cannabis
The most popular illegal drug in the U.K. and the
illegal drug most likely to have been tried by
young people 2-6 Times as Carcinogenic as
cigarettes. Cannabis smokers generally inhale
more smoke for longer depositing more than 4
times as much tar on their lungs as cigarette
smokers. In the UK the legal downgrading of
cannabis took place on 29th January 2004. This
one of the biggest developments in British drug
policy for 30 years.

Diamorphine Repeated heroin use produces
tolerance and physical dependence. Withdrawal
symptoms begin within a few hours of last use and
can include insomnia, diarrhoea, vomiting, cold
flashes with goose bumps, involuntary leg
movements. Detox is painful, and professionally
expensive. Overdose slows the users breathing
down and death may occur
