enter the address and press Go.

9What if I cant find the address with the Street
Address Search? This would happen if the address
did not exist when the 2000 Census was taken.
10First, find the address on a street or road map
or Google Maps to get a general idea about where
it is located. Then use the Reference Maps in
American FactFinder to find the census tract
number for that address.

13Zoom in until you are able to find where the
address would be located.
14Once the address is found, determine the census
tract number. The Legend on the left shows which
colored lines and numbers indicate the census
tract 506.02 in this example. Then head back to
FactFinder Main page.

16Choose Summary File 3 Detailed Tables

20Highlight the census tract number and press
Add. The tract number will pop into the
box. Then press Next.
21Highlight the tables you want displayed. Hold
down the Ctrl key to select more than one table.
There are hundreds of tables so be sure to scroll
down to see them all! Click Add then Show
