  • During certain periods in history, innovations in
    technology have grown at such a great rate that
    Industrial Revolutions were started.

The lead up to the Revolution
  • Just like the England, America went from a
    largely rural-agricultural country to a big
    business urban civilization.
  • During this era technology and ingenuity was at a
    peak.
  • People started thinking of what could be. And
    more importantly how to make money.

During the revolution
  • As the revolution went on people started buying
    more things instead of making your own.
  • Factories popped everywhere
  • There was plenty of semiskilled labor to fill
    jobs.

The Use of the Transcontinental Railroad
  • The Transcontinental Railroad was a god send to
    pioneers and people looking to start a new.
    Unfortunately for the Native Americans, the
    pioneers destroyed much of their lands and got
    into many fights.

  • The idea of the Transcontinental Railroad was
    proposed in 1830.
  • It wasnt until 1862 congress passed a bill for
    it to be built.
  • 1869 after a long building process the railroad
    was finished.
