Title: How to help improve Internet speed at school
1How to help improve Internet speed at school
2The problem is bandwidth
All internet traffic must go through here
3Some websites on the internet take up more
bandwidth than others.
Heres an illustration to help you understand
what that means.
4Think of most internet sites as the size of a
toothpick.
You can have lots of websites open throughout the
district.
5The internet is fast at this point (no pun
intended).
Everything is going well until people start
opening websites that take up lots of bandwidth.
6Think of those websites as the size of pencils
It begins to get crowded in there, and that slows
the speed WAY down.
7Here are some things YOU can do to help!
