  • As leaders in your local member unit, it is
    important for you to know who is in your
    membership.
  • This electronic resource can be used to identify
    both new members and lapsed members, generate
    labels for mailings, organize email addresses for
    e-blasts, and more!
  • A procedure for using these reports can be found
    at the Section and Chapter Officers Resource
    Overview area of the website.

Section and Chapter100 Membership Promotion
  • This promotion can be used as a stand alone
    membership recruiting campaign or in conjunction
    with a meeting.
  • An opportunity to encourage lapsed members
    (lapsed over 12 months) or individuals who have
    never been members to participate in the
    organization and utilize its benefits.

  • Post special announcements or promote upcoming
    events on the calendar at www.awma.org or feature

    appreciated but not required.

Leadership Training
  • A venue for networking, professional development,
    and discussion of AWMA programs for volunteer
    leaders within the local member units.
  • The training offers a wide array of formal and
    informal opportunities for discussion. Tools
    are presented for achieving goals in areas such
    as marketing, membership development,
    programming, outreach, volunteer management, and
    general administration of the Section or Chapter.

  • A PowerPoint presentation detailing the many
    advantages of AWMA membership. Sections and
    Chapters are encouraged to use it during local
    events as a marketing tool to highlight the
    products and services offered by AWMA.
