What is Grants.gov?

• Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically
  find and apply for competitive grant
  opportunities from Federal grant-making
  agencies.

Getting Started

• UD is the registered applicant for Grants.gov
• Grant researchers are not required to register or
  login to Grants.gov
• Do not register as an individual investigator

• Download PureEdge Viewer
• Obtain CFDA number
• Download your application package
• http//www.Grants.gov/

Application Package

• Download package
• Complete the package
• Attach package to UD Grants Proposal with the
  appropriate naming convention, i.e., proposal
  number_other (document type extension which will
  be added by system)

Submitting Proposal

• Notifying OVPR?
• At the start of preparation
• On the approval web form
• Whenever you need assistance in the process

Can I Make Changes to My Application?

• Requires complete new submission
• Prior to submission deadline
• UD Grants Proposal System
• Grants.gov

Tracking the Proposal

• OVPR notified of successful submission
• Tracking restricted by Grants.gov to OVPR

• All federal agencies will be submitting through
  Grants.gov
• All reporting will be electronic
