5Harry Potter Movie Review by C.O.
Harry Potter, an 11 year old boy, doesnt know he
is a wizard but finds out in a strange way.
First, Harry got a letter but his Uncle Vernon
ripped it up. Then, Harry got 1,000 letters but
his Uncle didnt give them to him. The letters
were from Hogwarts (the school of witchcraft and
wizardry). Harry ends up going to wizard school.
He makes potions, does transfiguration and plays
a game called Quidditch. Harry ends up having a
dangerous adventure. You will find out what
happens to Harry at the end. I think this movie
is 1000 stars. The best thing about the movie was
the special effects.

Mias real name is Mariel Margaret Hamm. She was
born on March 17, 1972 in Selma, Alabama. She was
called Mia because she reminded her mother of a
ballet teacher with the same name. In 1973, Mias
family moved to Italy. Mias father took her to
many soccer games. When she saw a soccer ball,
her eyes lit up.

21Pet Section
Cats by J.C.
Birds by B.D.
22Cats
Cats are mammals. That means they are animals
with fur. The babies are born alive and the
mother feeds them her milk. They like to eat
fish, cat food, vegetables and catnip. Cats run
very fast. They like to play with string. They
are afraid of dogs. Cats like to catch rats,
birds, butterflies and lizards. Cats have claws.
If you have a cat as a pet you need to take care
of it. You have to have a litter box for it. You
have to feed it and give it water. You can give
them toys like a ball with catnip in it.
23Birds
Birds can fly. Some birds can sing. Some have
beautiful colors. They eat seeds, fruits, bugs
and nuts. They hang onto trees. They have beaks.
They drink water. Some birds that make good pets
are finches, canaries, parakeets and cockatiels.
If you get a bird as a pet, you need to take care
of it. It will need a cage so it wont fly away.
You need to feed it and give it water. You need
to give it attention every day to keep it happy
and healthy. You should take your bird out of its
cage at least once a day. In the cage, you can
put in ladders for climbing and other toys. The
toys have to be strong because birds have strong
beaks.
