Title: 010 Root growth response to inputs
1010 ROOT GROWTH RESPONSE TO INPUTS
Roots respond to the quality of organic inputs
that are provided. Onions can be used to study
these responses with much ease.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
Plastic jars or bottles Onions Organic liquid
fertlisers
2Remove the caps of the jars. Fill A with plain
water, B with vermiwash (details given in this
manual), and C with what you wish to prepare as
a plant growth promoter.
3plain water
5 vermiwash
5 another natural fertiliser
Place an onion each on these jars with root zone
facing the liquids. In case the onions you have
are smaller, pass a tiny stick across the
onion and suspend the same on the jars. Wait and
watch the roots grow
45 another natural fertiliser
5 vermiwash
plain water
Check for roots as they grow and they grow best
in the liquid which they like best. In this
experiment you can see roots grow well in 5
vermiwash solution.
