• Value your privilege of being in the Lords House
  (Psalm 236 1221).

• The Tabernacle or Temple (Mark 131,2)?
• A church building (Acts 748,49 cf. John
  420-24)?
• Gods presence cannot be limited to any
  particular physical place or building.

• B. Because of its use for the Lord.
• The blessedness of dwelling in the Lords house
  comes out of the use that is made of the
  building, for the Lord.

the Lords House

• The blessing consists of the delight of being in
  Gods presence (v.2).
• Any place where we can commune with the Lord is
  (in a sense) the house of the Lord (cf. Genesis
  2810-19).

• Two guidelines for having a blessed time in the
  Lords House
• 1. Quieten yourself to come before the
  Lord (Psalm 4610).
• 2. Concentrate all your thoughts and actions
  on worshipping the Lord (cf. Isaiah 2913).

• God receives the full worship He deserves.
• Gods people are present outwardly as well as
  inwardly.

• All energies, thoughts, attitudes and prayers are
  fully directed to God.
• God is truly glorified in the heart-felt worship
  of His people.

• For a day in Thy courts is better than a
  thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the
  house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of
