LORD HEAR MY CRY

• Out of the depths I cry to you O Lord, O Lord
  hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my
  cry for mercy Ps1301-2
• Save me O God for the waters have come up to my
  neck. I sink in the miry depths where there is no
  foothold. I have come into the deep waters the
  floods engulf me Psalm 691-2

• DESPAIR and DOUBT
• Despair is the tool the enemy uses to destroy
  hope.
• DISSAPOINTMENT
• Disappointment comes when we look at our
  circumstances rather than Jesus
• DEPENDANCE
• Depending on our circumstances changing rather
  than depending on God is idolatry
• I waited patiently for the Lord he turned to me
  and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy
  pit, out of the mud and mire, he set my feet on a
  rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

BUT WITH YOU THERE IS FORGIVENESS

• If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins (should
  mark our iniquities), O Lord who could stand? But
  with you there is forgiveness therefore you are
  feared/revered.Psalm1303
• Have mercy on me, O God, according to your
  unfailing love
• According to your great compassion
• Blot out my transgressions.
• Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my
  sin. Psalm 511-2
• If we confess our sins he is faithful and just
  and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from
  all unrighteousness 1John19

WAITING AND HOPING

• I wait for the Lord, my soul( my whole person)
  waits, and in his word I put my hope.
• My soul waits for the Lord more than the
  watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchman
  wait for the morning.Psalm1305-6
• Despair is turned into hope because there is an
  expectation of rescue.

WITH THE LORD IS UNFAILING LOVE

• O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for
  with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is
  full redemption.
• He himself will redeem Israel from all their
  sins.Psalm1307-8
• The Lord said to me, Go show your love to your
  wife again, though she is loved by another and is
  an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the
  Israelites, though they turn to other gods and
  love the sacred raisin cakes. Hosea 31
• Husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved
  the church and gave himself up for her to make
  her holy, cleansing her by the washing of water
  through the word, and to present her to himself
  as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or
  any other blemish, but holy and blameless
  Ephesians 525-27

HE IS OUR HOPE

• For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
  neither angels nor demons, neither the present or
  the future, nor any powers, neither height nor
  depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be
  able to separate us from the love of God that is
  in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 838-39
