• We all know that henry VII was famous for his
  seven wives but he also broke away from Rome and
  that catholic church but why, that is what we
  are going to answer in this power point
• The reasons can be split into three categories
• .Religious
• .Economic
• .Personal

• Henry VII is most well known for his seven wives
  it all started with him wanting a divorce from
  his first wife
• He went to the pope and requested a divorcé but
  was turned down
• Then he created his own church and made divorces
  legal

Economic

• Henry saw this new church also as away to make
  and save money
• He forced all of England to convert to his church
• He then made them pay taxes to him

Religious

• Henry Started his own church for money power and
  so he could divorce fortunately
• He did not change many of the beliefs he modelled
  his church on the Lutherans
