Food

• The Arctic fox likes to eat bird ,eggs berries
  fish and small mammals. Its enemies are polar
  bears and humans . The Arctic fox will generally
  eat any thing can find including lemmings arctic
  reptiles amphibians eggs ,and hares , carrion .

• Lemmings are the most common prey. Arctic fox are
  the scavengers and will eat almost anything
  including what polar bear have left behind then
  they have feasted .also when food is plentiful
  they will bury there food for later.

• During April and may the Arctic fox also preys
  on ringed seal pups when the young Animals are
  confined to a snow den and are helpless.

• The Arctic fox weighs between 6 to 10 pounds. In
  winter time when its colder the Arctic fox is
  white . In summer time its color is gray. It is
  43 inches tall and between 10 to 12 inches long .
  The Arctic small and about the same weight as fox
  is a cat .

• It has a lot of fur on its body. It also has
  tiny ears to keep its body warm. Its bushy tail
  is wrapped around its body.This helps the fox to
  keep warm while its laying down or sleeping.

  weather in winter time. Its thick bushy coat
  turns white. This makes it hard to see the Arctic
  fox. Arctic foxes can take the cold better than

  arctic circle in the northern part of Alaska and

  Iceland and on the coast of Greenland. The Arctic
  fox lives farther north than any other fox.

  begins it will start to shed its white coat . The
  Arctic sometimes will enlarge ground squirrels .
  Burrows with several entrances and use the
  burrows for their dens . The Arctic foxes are
