Theories of Inspiration

• Natural theory

Implications of Inspiration

• All parts of the Bible are equally inspired
• Must distinguish between what is recorded and
  what is sanctioned by God
• Does not allow for any error whatsoever
• Did not overwhelm the personality of the human
  author
• Did not deny use of extra-biblical sources
• Did not mean uniformity of the details
• Assures us that God has included all the
  necessary things
