General aspects
  • It is not always a question about getting faster
to the market, sometimes it may be better
(cheaper!) to get an early decision not to enter!
  • The right questions asked early during the
process can avoid waste of money.
  • Money is important but
  • Dont leave the entrepreneur with only the money.
  • Ask for results, but set up realistic deadlines.
  • To be successful a project has to include more
    than a bright idea.
  • If the organization not is complete use your
    network to make it complete.

5
Three main components
  • Project/Idea
  • Entrepreneur
  • Business case

6
Three main components
  • Project/Idea
  • Not only a technical solution but also an answer
    to a market need!
  • Entrepreneur
  • Entrepreneurs are visionary but shall also be
capable to let at least part of the vision come
true! Sometimes a visionary person is difficult
to sort out from the dreamers!
  • Business case
  • It shall be nice in Power Point but also in excel!

7
Key questions
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Which problem has to be solved?
  • What is the customer need?
  • What are the alternatives?
  • Identify the potential customers
  • Who are they?
  • Where are they?
  • How much are they ready to pay?
  • Can you point out some real customers?
