Adding a Control
  • Open form in design view.
  • Use the toolbox to add controls.

Using the Control Wizard
  • The Control Wizard option in the Toolbox, when
    selected, will start the appropriate Wizard to
    guide you through setting up Option Groups, Combo
    Boxes, List Boxes, Command Buttons, and Subforms.

Cutting, Copying, Pasting, and Moving a Control
  • Open the form in Design view.
  • Select the Control and use the options in the
    Edit menu or keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl C for
    Copy, Ctrl X for Cut, Ctrl V for paste).

    combo box

    properties of a particular object.
  • The default value field is located under the Data
    tab.

Creating a Calculated Control
  • A calculated control is a form object that
    performs some sort of calculation based on data
    in the form or data extracted from another
    source.
  • Create text boxes and modify the properties (Data
    tab).

  • The combo box at the top of the Properties window
    lets you easily switch between all of the objects
    in a form.
