Whats this about parking permits?
  • When and where do I need a permit?
  • Permits are required every where on campus at all
    times.
  • Exceptions are metered spaces if meter is paid.
  • How do I obtain a permit?
  • Decals and Hangtags must be ordered online at
    www.parking.ucf.edu Please have a License plate
    and PID ready.
  • Daily permits may be obtained from pass machines
    located in student lots or from the visitors
    booth for 5.00.

What if
  • What if I drive a different car than the one with
    my permit?
  • A temporary permit may be obtained from the
    Parking Services office.
  • Please have temporary license plate number.
  • What if I need a new permit for my new car?
  • Peel the old decal off and bring it to the office
    and a new one will be issued for 8.00.
  • If the car is traded in and decal was not removed
    Just bring transfer of tag papers. If issued
    new tag then the trade in paper work would be
    another option.

Where can I park?
  • Parking Permits
  • A student permit may only be used in any GREEN
    lot or parking garage.
  • Students may park in BLUE staff lots or RED
    faculty lots AFTER 530 p.m. unless otherwise
    posted.
  • Only students with an ORANGE residential permit
    may park in Academic Village or Lake Claire lots
    at any time and may also be used in any GREEN lot
    or parking garage.
  • Students may NEVER park in a RESERVED 24 HOUR
    space. Doing so may result in a 50 fine and
    your vehicle being towed.
  • Daily Permits
  • Same as student permit.
  • Must place face up on the dash with Expiration
    date visible or a citation will be received.

  • Construction Operating cost
  • The fifth parking garage cost nearly 15 million
    dollars to build.
  • Parking Services incurs 6.3 million a year in
    expenses, including salaries, maintenance,
    operation and bond payments. Parking Services is
    completely self supporting and receives no state
    funding.

I received a ticket what now?
  • How can I pay my ticket?
  • Bring it to the Parking Services office. CASH,
    CHECK, or CREDIT CARD.
  • Drop payment in payment boxes located around
    campus. CHECKS ONLY!
  • Pay online or over phone. Must have license
    plate, citation, and credit card number
    available.
  • What if I dont pay my tickets?
  • After 7 business days a 10 late fee will be
    assessed.
  • UCF records will go on hold preventing class
    registration or acquisition of transcripts.
  • Continued failure to pay tickets will result in
    vehicular immobilization.
  • Can I appeal my ticket?
  • All appeals must be made online at
    www.parking.ucf.edu.
