- A bookmark is a reference point in a document
- Used to quickly locate text
- Bookmark names must begin with a letter and
cannot contain spaces

Endnotes - Used to identify the source of quotations, facts,
and ideas - Footnotes appear at bottom of page on which
referenced text appears - Endnotes appear at the end of the document text,

- An index is an alphabetical list of key words and
phrases matched to page numbers that appears at
the back of a book or report - To create an index you select and mark each
instance of the word, phrase, or symbol

- After marking all index entries, you then compile
the index by specifying the indexs style and
destination - You must update the index by selecting it and
pressing the F9 key if you mark additional text

you use to quickly move the insertion point to
