Tempus Priorities for BIH are in line with
  • Bologna Process
  • Reform of university governance, management and
    finance
  • Regional co-operation

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
  • Strong preferences will be given to the projects
    aimed at subject area not covered by the running
    of finished JEPs
  • In the curriculum JEPs all or the majority of the
    BIH universities should be involved for the wider
    impact
  • The project should aim at the development of
    entire study programs and not a part of them or
    separate subjects

UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT
  • Areas of particular interest are
  • optimisation of the facultyuniversity
    relationship
  • reform of university governance, management and
    finance
  • introduction and strengthening of mechanisms of
    strategic management at higher education
    institutions, including the introduction of
    institutional development plans.
  • strengthening of student associations and student
    services
  • development of quality assurance systems,
    including self-assessment

TRAINING COURSES FOR INSTITUTION BUILDING
  • Preference is given to the following areas
  • public finance and tax policy
  • social policy
  • metrology and quality standards
  • environment
  • democracy and human rights
  • justice, including European Community Law

MULTIPLIER PROJECTS
  • Applications are, in particular, encouraged in
    the following areas
  • Development, promotion and implementation of
    reforms of the national higher education system
    aimed at the realisation of the objectives of the
    Bologna Process. Inclusion of all relevant
    actors in project activities such as higher
    education institutions, relevant higher education
    authorities, advisory and policy bodies
  • Development and implementation of policies aiming
    at better coordination of bilateral or
    multi-country higher education cooperation
    programmes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
