Selecting a Mentor

• Ask about previous students and projects

• What skills will I need for project?

• Does project have IRB/Human Subjects approval?

Proposals

• Brief, 2 page proposal, with mentor letter of

• FINER (feasible, interesting, novel, ethical,

• Written jointly with mentor, one submission per
  student
  
• Reviewed by faculty Student Research Committee,
