Objective
Keralashree aims at creating a platform for the
employable educated youth of Kudumbashree to meet
employers for career growth.

Rationale

• Kudumbashree, the State Poverty Eradication
  Mission aims at eradicating absolute poverty from
  the state of Kerala within 10 years.
• Guided by the slogan Reaching out the families
  through women and reaching out the community
  through families, all Kudumbashree programmes
  are implemented through CBOs of poor women.
• Today over 16 lakhs of employable educated youth
  from more than 32 lakhs of poor families need an
  exposure to the employment market.
• Hence KERALASHREE.

Redefining Recruitment Process
How it works?

• Keralashree is networked and managed by groups of
  entrepreneurs from Kudumbashree families.
• Keralashree will have Management centres in all
  districts.
• Recruiters/Organisations may register online by
  giving job profile specifying their requirement
• Recruiters/Organisations may also contact the
  nearest management centre for registration.
• Resumes of prime candidates will be forwarded to
  Recruiters for selection

Redefining Recruitment Process
How it works?

• Employable educated youth and skilled personnel
  belonging to Kudumbashree families can register
  at their nearest Keralashree management centre.
• Registration fee fixed is Rs.75/- for 1 year
• On appointment of a candidate, the employer will
  deduct and remit 10 of one month salary to
  Keralashree.

  cost.

KERALASHREE An innovative Micro enterprise

• Management centres in all districts
• Management centres will be operated by 3 or 4
  educated unemployed youth as a Micro enterprise
• The group operating from Thiruvananthapuram will
  act as core team
• The District level Management centres will
  function under the control and supervision of
  District Mission Co-ordinators.

KERALASHREE Project at a glance

• Total Project Cost Rs.2 Lakhs
• Project may be submitted under Yuvashree (50 K
  employment programme) or Urban Self Employment
  programme(USEP)
• Units will have a two wheeler for easy mobility
• Unit will have one Computer, Printer, Digital
  Camera, Land Phone and two cell phone connections

• Resume display (Rs. 75/- per year/candidate).
• Resume development (Rs. 10/- per resume).
• 10 of one month salary deducted from the
  employees and paid by the employer to
  Keralashree.
