PMABS is an educational alliance among biologists
at seven of North Carolinas historically
minority universities (HMUs) and UNC-CH.
PMABS goal is to improve the quality of science
education at all of its partner universities
(including UNC-CH) and, ultimately, to increase
diversity in the biological sciences.
