Types of chemical reaction 1

• Combustion reactions use oxygen and generate
  heat. They usually have flames. Eg burning Mg or
  methane (in a Bunsen burner)
• Decomposition reactions involve the breaking
  large molecules into smaller ones. Eg heating
  copper carbonate this will produce carbon dioxide
