• What is an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
• An AoA is conducted to make reliable, objective
  assessment of the available options for meeting
  the needs of various applications
• An AoA is an analytical comparison of the
  operational effectiveness and cost of proposed
  materiel solutions to shortfalls in operational
  capability
• AoAs document the rationale for identifying a
  preferred solution or solutions to the shortfalls

• Conduct a Civil GPS Position, Navigation, and
  Timing (PNT) Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to
  recommend alternatives for meeting civil GPS user
  requirements.
• Analyze civil PNT requirements
