Features

• System Requirements at least 2MB of RAM, and
  the same amount of hard disk space.
• Uses graphic interface for experiment design.
• Timing accuracy of 16ms using mouse or keyboard,
  1ms if using external input devices such as a
  button box.

• Experiments are designed using icons, a tool bar,
  and pull-down menus.
• Complex experiments can be written in Psyscopes
  programming language- PsyScript.
• Everything designed using graphics is written to
  a text file.
• Editing the text file with PsyScript will create
  the corresponding graphics.

Strengths

• ITS FREE!
• Download from www.psyscope.com
• Relatively easy to learn- even for non-computer
  savvy people like myself.
• Use of PsyScript allows programming of complex
  experiments.
• Can be used with programming languages other than
  PsyScript.

Weakness

• Only for use on Macintosh
• Very little technical assistance. You need to be
  a member of the Consortium to receive design
  assistance.
• Because of the work being done on E-Prime there
  is little updating being done on PsyScope.
