removed. There is no doubt that Learning
Essentials Academic Tutorials will be on all
computers, so you may want to place your focus in
that area of this section.

Please note I had never touched PhotoStory
before I threw this 20 second video together in
less than 5 minutes. I do not have an authentic
example, but can see a ton of potential with this
program. It is a great introductory program for
extending PowerPoints or showing the power and
potential of Windows Movie Maker.

Google Maps and Earth
81
Google Maps and Earth
  • PROBLEM
  • Every computer in the classroom logged on to
Google Earth bogs the system down to a point
where the computers run very slow.
  • SOLUTION
  • Create maps using a Google account on Google
    Maps.

82
Google Maps
  • Each student must create a free Google Account
  • www.google.com
  • Create an Account Now
  • Once an account is created
  • Maps
  • My Maps
  • Create New Map

83

computer, so the change may not really be on the
student laptops. I am leaving this section as it
was last year until I know if Google Earth has
truly been removed.
84
Google Earth
  • Once the final product is finished, students can
export the final product into a KML file, which
    opens in Google Earth.
