Stereotypes

• Teens dont care
• Theyll just end up dropping out anyway
• Many dont think they fit the well rounded
  student profile
• College and media promote stereotypes
• -Have to have superior qualifications
• -Reward certain students
• Teens are forcibly fed with what colleges are
  looking for

Family Patters

• Parents didnt take interest in college
• Some dropped out of college
• Older siblings took opposite paths (which turns
  into a waterfall effect)
• Parents support entering the workforce rather
  than higher education after high school

  counselors)
• - Lack of college info distributed in high
  schools

• Too many fees (Tuition, book, transportation,
  room and board, and personal expense fees)
• No knowledge of financial support (grants,
  scholarships, loans)
• NO AID ZONE (parents make too much money for
  aid but cant or dont support their children
  financially with school)

Peer Pressure

• I dont need to go to college neither do you.
• Look at these business moguls without higher
  education (rappers, Bill Gates, etc.)
• Work with me at this place, youll make way more
  money than by going to college
