Company history
Company started as a spin off from ABR Innova Oy,
which was producing furnaces for fiber drawing
towers. During 2001 and 2006 we completed our
product portfolio for all processes in fiber
manufacturing. In December 2004 we acquired
project automation business from PMJ Automec.
Several new products like CTC concept, automatic
screw insertion cell and laser marking cells was
launched 2005-2006. Headquartered in Finland,
the company has leading position in developing
new technologies for specialty fiber
manufacturing, industrial production of optical
fibers and customized automation. Our position
as a preferred supplier is very strong today in
our specialized field.

Ownership and shareholders
Photonium is privately owned company, main
shareholder is FT Capital with 53 ownership .
FT Capital is Jokela family owned investment
company. Jokela family has additionally 22 of
the shares. Rest of the shares is owned by 2
industrial investors and by the personnel.
