• Purpose today is to review the proposed Action
  Plan, obtain your input and, hopefully, agree a
  text for submission to the Stakeholders
• We will look at Membership Matters
• We will review the activities of Mirror Groups
• We will review the FP 7 calls
• Look at Financing Budgets

Mirror Groups

• Purpose is to communicate Nationally or
  Regionally
• Funders, Researchers, Industry as a minimum
• Create collaboration with Action Plan, Focus
  Funding on Priorities, Regional Collaboration,
  Avoid Duplication

• First meeting in late February
• Key participants in audience of 120!
• Unanimous support for intent of Mirror Group
• University of Bologna leading now forming Board
• Very impressive Website!

• Interest in commencing a group in the UK
• Very preliminary discussions in Sweden

Financing Budget - 1

• 300,000 SSA funding almost used up will keep
  ETPGAH running until the end of 2007
• Contributions in kind have been tremendous!
• Commission, EB, SC, Stakeholders many have self
  funded or provided facilities this is greatly
  appreciated
• IFAH-Europe provided the co-ordinator

• 80,000 per year to Tick Over
• Occasional meetings, Teleconferences, Represent
  ETPGAH, Limited support to Mirror Groups
• 150,000 per year to be active
• Develop some documents, Take some initiatives
• What else can the ETPGAH do?
• Ability to act as a communications hub
  (researchers, funders, users)
• Establish groups and achieve real output

• Who can fund ETPGAH into the Future?
• Commission, SCAR, IFAH-Europe, Stakeholders?
• Applying for SA under FP 7
• Prioritisation, Gap Analysis, Use of new
  Technology
• If SA submission successful, plan to establish
